Cindy McDonald

Recorders

My interest in music began when I learned the guitar at age 10. I have sung in church and community choirs all of my life and my husband and I enjoy performing both vocal and instrumental duets. I learned the soprano recorder on a whim during the pandemic and added the alto only recently. I love playing with Musicke Antiqua and find it both challenging and rewarding

Ben Potter

Recorders

Started playing alto recorder during college days at UNC, replacing brass instruments played earlier. Played with othes at Union Theological Seminary, NYC. Served Methodist churches in Eastern NC. Retooled in clinical psychology. After 11 years of retirement in Brevard received an invitation to join Musicke Antiqua and the Brevard Recorder Quartet.

Rhona Reagan

Baroque Viola

Graduated from DePaul University with degrees in Music Therapy and Applied Music Performance. Career has included studio teaching, conducting, and chamber music coaching. Received awards for teaching excellence and contributions to Music Education. Since moving to North Carolina is a member of several music ensembles and performs as a soloist and orchestral player.
